Rockets Game

I went to a Rockets game the other day, sat up close, studying the art of the "dunk." I love the Rockets. This year's team is basically taking a page out of The Little Engine That Could. Because maybe, just maybe, they can win it all. And maybe, just maybe, one day I'll dunk. But, one thing is very clear from the game, these guys are practically hitting their heads on the goal.

The average height in the NBA is 6' 7". That's a foot taller than me. Makes sense why Spud Webb is the only 5' 7" dunker you can think of. I'm trying to change that. But until then... more Spud YouTubing!

Raise The Rim?

If Paul "The Truth" Pierce were NBA Commissh I would have extra problems... mainly 3 extra problems.

"Raise the rim three inches: The athletes today are crazy. You see the way guys are jumping these days. I would raise the rim three inches. Then, you have to learn the art of the jump shot. You'll have to know how to play this game a little bit better then. Raising the rim, you'll see improved play. You'll see increasing fundamentals. I'm telling you."

Oh Boy

It is so hard to dunk.

December Attempt

This video is hilarious, for none of the reasons that any of the other videos are. I set up my camera and pressed record and then someone was about to enter the gym. This guy was HUGE. I saw him getting out of his truck in the parking lot and he could see above the truck. Being politically correct, I'll just say this guy had a MUCH better tan than me. Anyway I got a little scared. He ended up not coming in the court, just checking it out, so I attempted to throw it down. Also, this month I feature my half court buzzer beating shot.
